Fortis Pro has extensive experience providing contracted Construction Safety Site Services primarily for large scale, steel erection type projects. In this role we fill the roles of either a Safety Site Manager or a Safety Technician - whatever the client needs. These services can include:

Services - EHS Small and Medium Scale enterprises

The mission of Fortis Pro is to reduce operational costs by eliminating risk exposures for both our clients and their employees. This is achieved by providing a complete range of Environmental, Health and Safety services.

• Fortis Pro starts by addressing potential risk exposures through an onsite safety audit which identifies work site hazards and safety implementation needs. A detailed, written report is then presented to the client identifying areas of need complete with recommendations and cost estimates.

• Fortis Pro performs Safety Training to improve employee safety behaviors and awareness, and to keep the work site in full compliance with OSHA training and documentation standards. We provide all safety training and documentation needs on a site-specific basis as required by federal law.

• Fortis Pro creates or updates required Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Spill Prevention, Control and Counter-measure Plans (SPCCs), and provide employee training, orientation and documentation services for these plans to ensure verifiable compliance with OSHA and EPA requirements. We also coordinate and communicate these plans to local first responders such as fire departments, police, hospitals and other rescue teams.

• Fortis Pro provides complete Accident/Incident Investigation services for the client, and if requested, their Workers Compensation Insurance carrier. A detailed and illustrated report is created that identifies Root Cause for the accident as well as recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.

• Fortis Pro provides complete OSHA 300-series documentation and record keeping services.

Services - Project Management

Fortis Pro has extensive small & large scale Project Management (PM) experience in commercial construction, building modifications, equipment installations & removals, business start-ups, and commercial insurance claims. We apply our knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in order to meet our client’s project requirements.

These include:

1. Assistance in identifying client needs, goals

2. Planning of the project that is detailed and thorough

3. Execution to insure the project is properly managed

4. Monitoring and Controlling to insure goals are met on schedule and within budget

5. Closing out of the project

Our Project Management expertise draws from the factors that make up each project: complete Integration of services available, entire scope of the project, scheduling, cost projection & control, quality assurance, procurement and supply chain management, human resource availability and development, communication structure, risk management and the client Interests. With his roots in family-oriented small businesses, Peter Fleming has developed skill sets that covered a wide range of specialties. The projects he has managed are both national and international in scope and often mobilized local client, union and contractual personnel to achieve success. Peter employs a "lead from the front" and "lead by example" approach blurring the lines between white collar and blue collar mentalities, thus maximizing team effectiveness.

Peter attended Auburn University where he majored in Geology with a minor in Mathematics. He has also received numerous industry related certifications in safety from BCSP, OSHA, EPA and DOT including:
